Solidcontrol™ Terms of Service & Service Usage Agreement

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, purchasing, or using any services provided by Solidcontrol™ ("The Provider," "We," or "Us"), you ("The User," "Client," or "Customer") agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and the Service Usage Agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, you must immediately discontinue the use of our services.

2. Modification of Terms

Solidcontrol™ retains full, sole authority to alter, modify, or update these Terms and the Service Usage Agreement at any time. Continued use of the service following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms. It is the User's responsibility to review these Terms periodically.

3. Service Usage & File Management

3.1. User Authority: Solidcontrol™ grants the User a limited, non-exclusive license to access and manage their rented server environment. The User is responsible for the configuration, file management, and security of their specific instance.

3.2. Provider Access: Solidcontrol™ agrees not to edit, modify, or access User files without permission, except in the following circumstances:

  • Technical support requests initiated by the User.
  • To prevent a security breach or stability issue affecting the Solidcontrol™ network.
  • Compliance with legal subpoenas or law enforcement requests.

3.3. Responsibility for Corruption: Solidcontrol™ is not responsible for server issues caused by User mismanagement, corrupted files uploaded by the User, incompatible mods/plugins, or third-party licensing conflicts. Services are provided on an "as-is" basis.

4. Intellectual Property & Content Ownership

4.1. Rights Retention: Solidcontrol™ claims no ownership rights over the files, data, or intellectual property uploaded by the User to their servers. All User content remains the sole property of the User.

4.2. License to Host: By uploading content, the User grants Solidcontrol™ a limited, worldwide license to host, store, and copy said content solely for the purpose of providing the agreed-upon service (e.g., backups and network distribution).

5. Billing, Cancellations, and Data Deletion

5.1. Payments: All services are billed in advance. Failure to pay by the due date will result in immediate service suspension.

5.2. Refund Policy: All Sales Are Final. Solidcontrol™ does not offer refunds for partial months of service, unused time, or user-generated errors. Exceptions may be made at the sole discretion of the Administration for catastrophic hardware failures on the Provider's end.

5.3. Data Deletion Policy (Strict): In the event of non-payment or failure to renew a service, the server instance will be suspended. If the service remains non-renewed for twenty-four (24) hours past the deadline, the server and ALL associated files, databases, and content will be permanently deleted. Solidcontrol™ is not liable for any data loss resulting from failure to renew on time.

6. Acceptable Use Policy (Anti-Exploitation)

To prevent exploitation of Solidcontrol™ services, the following activities are strictly prohibited. Violation will result in immediate termination without refund:

6.1. Malicious Activity: Use of servers for DDoS attacks, botnets, malware distribution, or phishing.

6.2. Resource Abuse: Any attempt to exploit hardware limitations, bypass resource caps (CPU/RAM), or conduct cryptocurrency mining.

6.3. Illegal Content: Hosting content that violates the laws of the jurisdiction in which the server is located (e.g., copyrighted material without a license, illegal pornography, etc.).

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Solidcontrol™ shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from:

  • Use or inability to use the service.
  • Loss of data due to corruption, deletion (per Section 5.3), or security breaches.
  • Unfixable server issues resulting from User error or third-party software defects.
  • Service interruptions or downtime.
8. Support

For any server issues, billing inquiries, or disputes, the User must contact the Administration directly via a support ticket.
